The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law – University of Baghdad organized a workshop on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, titled “Implementing the Bologna Process at the College of Law – University of Baghdad”, held in the college’s conference hall.
The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Jalil Hassan Bashat, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Teaching Affairs, and Eng. Zeina Rajab Hussein.
The workshop aimed to introduce the Bologna Process and highlight its importance in developing university education, explain the mechanism for colleges to join this process, and demonstrate how to manage faculty personal profiles and register courses within the system.
The workshop covered several key topics, including:
1. General explanation of the concepts and objectives of the Bologna Process.
2. Procedures for faculty registration in the system.
3. Managing the personal profile of faculty members.
4. The credit system and course registration process.
At the conclusion of the workshop, several recommendations were made, including:
1. Organizing multiple workshops to enhance understanding and implementation of the Bologna Process.
2. Exchanging experiences with colleges that have previously implemented the system.
3. Developing curricula in line with the requirements of the Bologna Process.
4. Training and qualifying teaching and administrative staff to ensure effective implementation of the new system.
